One Leg Challenge

Can you comfortably stand on one leg for a minute?

The ability to stand on one leg is a great indicator of overall balance and strength and is the foundation to better quality of life by preventing injury and improved sporting performance.

The exercises will appear here following my principles on No Excuse Prehab making it simple to do.

  • Practice by starting a few seconds at a time
  • Rebalance using your other foot or your hands
  • Try to rebalance with the lightest contact you can
  • Practice when brushing teeth, boiling the kettle or whenever you have a spare minute
  • You will gradually increase the time before you need to rebalance
